Hi!  Thank you so much for being interested in donating to The Haley Rasco Foundation through our Amazon Wish List.  We have several different wish lists and invite you to learn more about each of them below.  All of these items are of equal importance and in high need and we encourage you to purchase an item that speaks to you and your family.

Thank you for your support and for helping us spread Moments of Joy to pediatric hospital patients and their families.

*Make sure if you are buying for a specific event or person you make note on the gift tag when you are checking out.
For example “HNW VBS,” “Brittany’s Birthday Event,” “Women’s conference” etc.

It is through toys and play that kids are able to feel like kids in the hospital. Toys in the playroom, toys the Child Life Department can hand out, toys kids can keep in their rooms. Covid changed everything with how toys are handled in the hospital.  Now many toys are one time use, meaning once a patient plays with something, it belongs to them.  This is great for patients, but increases the quantity the hospital needs dramatically.  This list serves all ages and all facilities.

We have partnered with the Texas Children’s NICU to provide books for their book cart.  These books will be available to caregivers to take and read to their babies.  Families in the NICU can use reading as a way to bond and interact with their babies.  Reading has countless benefits for children, even for the tiniest babies!

Teens are some of the most under-served patients from a donations stand point. Let’s face it - teens are hard to buy for, but they need distractions and “toys” more than ever when in the hospital. We’ve put together a special list just for teens to help you!

What if your child is taken to the Emergency Room and their clothes need to be removed to provide them treatment?
What if your teen has been on IV fluids all day during treatment and has an accident?
What if your child just had chemotherapy and vomited on their shirt from nausea? What would you do?

A change of clothes is not always something you have on hand. These instances usually result in a caregiver having to leave the hospital to purchase new clothes or someone having to come up to the hospital to bring it.  This list provides clothing for patients size 12 months – 2X, so it is readily available for them when they need it. These are the REAL needs for these pediatric patients. Even though a pair of pants doesn’t seem like a typical Moment of Joy, think about the comfort and peace it can bring a patient and their caregiver in their moment of need.
