Celebrating our 3rd Anniversary
From Haley’s Mom, Heather
Celebrating 3 Years of the Haley Rasco Foundation
Three years. That number carries a deep and unique weight for us.
Haley was just three years old when she went to Heaven. Year three of her life holds some of the sweetest, most cherished memories for our family. So, to now celebrate the Foundation reaching the same age is a powerful and emotional milestone.
Each year of this journey has been a whirlwind, full of challenges, growth, and unexpected blessings, and this past year has been no exception. In fact, it’s been one of our biggest yet, marked by incredible milestones and moments of impact that continue to amaze us.
Major Highlights from This Year:
Our 1,000th Haley’s Happy Birthday!
In September, we celebrated our 1,000th birthday with a very special girl named Larissa. She unexpectedly had to spend her 15th birthday in the hospital. We threw her the best last-minute quinceañera we could—complete with three beautiful pink dresses to choose from, a crown, flowers, cake, and room decorations. Her joy lit up the entire floor. It was a blessing not just for her and her mom, but for our team and the hospital staff who helped make it all possible.
We moved into our first official office!
Since day one, we’ve operated out of my home. But this year, with 41 families receiving Christmas gifts, back to back events with hundreds of goody bags, and a growing team, it was time for a change. Taking that leap of faith was scary, but in January God led us to the perfect space at Graceview Baptist Church in Tomball. It has been such a gift, giving us room to plan, store, and grow in ways we never could before.
Our First Boots and Blessings Fundraiser
In March, we hosted our first annual Boots and Blessings fundraiser, and it was a night to remember! With 200 incredible supporters in attendance, we enjoyed great country music, dancing, and fellowship—all while raising over $50,000 to support our mission and fuel growth for the coming year. It was a powerful reminder of the community that stands behind us, and we can't wait to build on this success next year. Save the date for March 27, 2026!
A growing and incredible team
I never imagined having a staff or needing an office, but God’s plans were bigger than mine. Today, I’m honored to work alongside four amazing women who pour their hearts into this mission every day: Brittany Ishmael, Amy Nobles, Rebecca Hutchinson, and Miranda Lippman. Their dedication and passion help bring Haley’s legacy to life, and I’m forever grateful for their partnership.
By the Numbers: What We’ve Done in 3 Years
In just three years, we’ve witnessed God’s faithfulness over and over again. Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished together:
$471,000 in cash donations, plus $70,000 in in-kind gifts
Serving 8 hospitals across Texas, North Carolina, and New Jersey
Supporting 30 individual Child Life teams within those hospitals
1,824 Haley’s Happy Birthdays delivered to kids in the hospital
10,000 toys donated, valued at over $106,000
74 families served through our Haley’s Holiday Helper program, receiving over $25,000 in Christmas gifts and decorations
$27,000 raised by Dixon’s Lemonade Stand and his partner stands
17,000+ miles driven to make deliveries
And the biggest one yet: 32,800+ patients served across all programs!
Reflecting Back, Looking Forward
When I first had the idea of bringing birthdays to kids in the hospital, I never imagined it would become what it is today. Now Haley’s name and legacy is known all over the hospitals we serve. When patient’s hear our name or see our logo, they know they will experience a Moment of JOY in the middle of their hard day.
I truly believe God has woven all things together for good in Haley’s story. While we will never understand why this was His plan for our Haley, through grief and heartache, He has brought purpose and healing. Through this Foundation, we get to help families create moments of JOY even in the hardest times.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you. Whether you’ve prayed for us, donated, volunteered, or simply shared our story, you’ve been a part of this journey. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for year four and beyond.
