Thank you for signing up to partner with us for Dixon’s Lemonade Stand this year!

Below is all the information you should need to get started and have a successful stand. Remember every dollar you raise is important and goes directly to the patients. So whether you raise $50 or $500 we are thankful for all of you and your support for Dixon’s piece of the Foundation.

FAQ’s

How do I start?

First pick the day you want to have your stand, any time or day will work. We have found weekends are the most successful and we get the most response.

What supplies do I need?

Keep it simple! All you really need is a table, some posters, containers for lemonade, cups, ice and something to collect money in. You can spruce it up with plastic yellow table clothes, decorations, cute cups or straws, but do whatever works for your family. If you want to build a stand, great! If you want to put a table and lawn chairs out, great! Either way this is meant to be a fun time for you and your kids, so do what works for you!

What kind of lemonade do we need?

We use store bought mix and add water. We have a couple of large dispensers that we fill and have a back up pitcher ready to refill us as needed. You can buy the dry mix or pre-made jugs. We usually have regular lemonade and strawberry (because Haley loved pink), but feel free to have any flavors or concoctions your family comes up with

Do we need cookies?

Totally up to you! We have given out free cookies in the past. One year we made them and one year we bought them. Again, do what works for you!

How do we market it?

Posters in the neighborhood are always great. We get bright yellow posters and write on them with a sharpie and put them out early the morning of. Let all your friends, family and neighbors know. Post it on neighborhood Facebook pages, Next Door, and on social media. Where ever you feel comfortable sharing, since you will list your address, is up to you. We will mail you flyers, but also link them below in a Drop Box link if you want to print them off yourself.

Please make sure to take lots of photos the day of. We would love to share them during and after the event. You can also share them on social and tag us @HaleyRascoFoundation.

How do I collect money?

You can collect cash, checks, Zelle or Venmo. Dixon has a large plastic jar on the stand to allow people to drop cash in it. We will also provide you with a QR code for Zelle and our Venmo handle, checks can be made payable to: The Haley Rasco Foundation. Once you have collected all the money you can send it to us a couple ways:

  1. You can write us a check for the total of all the cash you have collected and keep the cash. This prevents you having to pay credit card fees if you choose to make donation by credit card.

  2. If you would rather use a credit card, let me know and I will send you a link to do it online.

Mail all the checks to: The Haley Rasco Foundation, P.O. Box 702, Cypress, Tx, 77410
